How do i personalize my yahoo home page?

The new yahoo web page wont stay as my home page, why?! please help?

I followed the firefox instruction to add the new yahoo page as my home page. it only stay up there when i keep the window open or when i refresh it. once i close the firefox window and go to reopen it, the new yahoo home page is not there! it brngs up the old yahoo page. why is this not working for me. I have saved the new yahoo home page as a bookmark and tried it that way and it still does not work. i have tried dragging the Y icon into my home icon and that wont save it either. please help! i love the new home page and rather have that one than the old one!
Answer:

It has the same url as the old one, it's too new to save as your homepage yet, the url will bring up the old one until the new one becomes permanent.
