  The answer above is correct if you want to search the profile of an asker or answerer which you stumble upon. But there is more... Yahoo has revamped the profiles and the member search. Until recently you could enter http://members.yahoo.com/ to get to the membersearch, now you are being redirected to: http://profiles.yahoo.com/intro/?s=209 which asks you to create a new profile. At the bottom left of that page you'll see 2 buttons, 1 takes you to an official blog with explanations why and how the changes were made: http://www.yprofileblog.com/ The other one has tutorials about how the new profile system works: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/profiles/ #2: If you know the screen name, enter it in Google followed by "yahoo profile". If the screen name is rather unique, the profile should appear close to the top of the list, if the nick is a bit more common, you might have to do a little scrolling.
