Is there an easy way to get into a yahoo chatroom?

How can I get into yahoo chatroom ? Is the fact that I just changed to an apple PC preventing me?

I have just purchased an apple PC. I can get into yahoo messenger but it doesn't supply the "messenger" word to click without without which I can't get to a yahoo chatroom. It doesn't even say what version it is. Can you tell me how I can get to yahoo chat? Thanks
