Yahoo Webhosting Business Form error message "site not found"?
-
We are a long time YAHOO business webhosting customer. We have a webform that has been working for a long time. However, recently, we kept on getting this message when the "SUBMIT" button is hit: There was an error while processing your form input: Site not found Please go back and try again. My html code/line is correct based on yahoo's documentation: <form method=post action=" http://us.x.px.webhosting.yahoo.com/form%E2%80%A6 login=YourYahooID"> &[email protected] Instead of [email protected], type the email address to which you'd like the form delivered. In fact, it used to work before but failed to work now. I contacted Yahoo's Business Service helpdesk, and they said they don't support HTML!!!!!! I did use Frontpage to create the webpage rather than the Sitebuilder of Yahoo. Still, HTML is HTML. All webpages are written in HTML. Upon further testing and investigation, I believe Yahoo's web form function is DOWN for whatever reasons. Other users have the same problems if you search Google. If you have any suggestions/advice, kindly let me know.

Answer:
Hi Paul, Sorry you're having some trouble with your web form. Yahoo! Small Business Technical Support is not a web developer network so we don't normally troubleshoot third party code such as HTML, though the file type and coding is fully supported on our Web Hosting platform. It looks like there are a few changes you can try to the HTML: 1. Encase the word "post" in quotes. 2. Move the ">" symbol to the end of the email address rather than before it. 3. Replace the X's with the correct numbers for your domain. 3. Your code should look like this: <form method="post" action="http://us.X.pX.webhosting.yahoo.… login=yahooid&[email protected]> Also, forms created in FrontPage sometimes require different settings.
