Cannot validate phone number?

Trying to message my fiance from yahoo messenger to her phone. Its worked good for the past few months and last week it just up and stopped. It tells me, "There was a problem validating this phone number. Please try again later." Any help or ideas why this would be happening? I'm running the latest version of yahoo messenger.

Answer:
You may need to use an older version of messenger, new versions have glitches which may be your problem. Here is a link to older versions you can load the one that worked for you previously. Don't worry about things like your contact list, it is held on yahoos servers so once you reload messenger it will all come back.
