How do i cancel text messages from yahoo avatars?

i want to stop receiving text messages from yahoo avatars and reauters at all times of the night i am a working mom nd i have to getup very early to take my kids to school and can hardley get any sleep due to the damm text messages that go off during all times of the night

I have never heard of text messages from avatars, but I do know that if you are in the UK you can just simply text back 'stop all' as a reply message to spam texts and they will stop. Failing that, put your phone on silent. Most mobiles will allow you to put the ringer on silent and still let the alarm go off at it's normal pitch. I'm sorry I can't help more.
