Where's my Yahoo avatar moved?

Can you use yahoo avatar with ATT Yahoo?

  • For weeks I have been trying to figure out why my avatar will not show in the preview window. Yes I have even asked here in Yahoo Answers, but the answer was that it was my settings and then other programs, etc. Anyway, I knew that wasn't the case because I checked all that stuff first and besides, the other images appeared (not in preview) like the hairstyles, clothes, etc. It was only the face/eyes part. So I couldn't ever create one. I have ATT Yahoo with Windows 7, IE9. So I created a new ID using the @yahoo instead of @att.net. Worked great, no problems. So then to make sure I didn't have anything wrong on the att side of settings, I created a sub account with a new ID (@att.net) nope doesn't work. So it must be that yahoo avatar only works when using an ID with yahoo and not with the ATT yahoo version. Please let me know if you find out how to do it. even more bizzare is while I'm in the yahoo avatar preview page, if I click on internationals and select China (I think Belgium too) it works but I can't read chinese so I did make my avatar within the chinese version, but still can't preview and/or change anything after creating it and going back to the US version. This is so weird and drives me crazy. I've tried everything suggested with no avail.

Well I don't have a Yahoo email address. I have a SBC address. I have always had the avatar screen, even created my avatar way back when. Now since Yahoo discontinued the pulse and changed it to profile, my avatar screen is just a skeleton. Nothing in the preview pane. I can look at options, but they won't move when I click on them. It lets me delete things from my Favorites. I have asked this question and posted on the Suggestion Board. They just tell me to update Java and Adobe. They are all updated. They said to clear the cache of cookies, etc. Nothing works.Since that happened I have since got a new computer and everything is updated on it. But still no avatar screen. We are not the only ones with this problem. I have answered others as well. I even emailed Yahoo with no response. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help, I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone. I'm still looking for an answer on this. No one has one.
