How do i find a yahoo address?

Yahoo Groups says I'm blacklisted to fix this I'm supposed to include an IP address. HOW do I find it?

  • Re: Yahoo Groups - Blacklisting Let me clarify. I'm asked to include the blacklisted IP address . Is that MY IP address? Comcast IP address? Yahoo's IP address? WHICH address is it and where or how or what should I be doing to get this IP address (or addresses) as the case may be? For that matter WHO does the blacklisting. Is it Yahoo? If not then WHO? Reporting the WRONG IP addresses doesn't fix the problem. So which IP addresses are the ones in question?

    A simply way is to go to the Start button, and click Run. In the space provided type cmd, which will bring up your command screen. In here type ipconfig, and you will see the IP Address listed. Another way, again from press the Start button and open the Network Connections. Click on the Local Area Connection icon. On the left side of the window you will see under the Details section your IP Address. That should do you....

depending on your operating system (windows 98, me, xp) you need to open a command prompt, enter in a command, and you will have your ip address. first go to your start bar and click on the "run" icon. in the blank field, type "cmd" and this will open a command prompt window. If this doesnt work, go to start bar, programs, accessories, and select command prompt from the list. in the black command prompt window, type "ipconfig /all" and press enter. You will see several results pop up. Simply copy down your results and send Yahoo the address they are looking for.
