How do I create an avatar?

How come I can only create a male avatar?

  • I'm trying to make an avatar for YahooAnswers but I can only make a male. I click on "change gender" and it takes me back to the home screen, but when I click on create avatar again, it still goes back to a male. Do I need a Yahoo email address to create an avatar? Help!

    Click "My Activity" at top of page Select "Edit My Preferences" <================ Click "Update photo or avatar" Follow instructions to select your photo/avatar Click "Submit" on bottom of original page when done To make a carton avatar: http://avatar.yahoo.com Make sure your Pulse profile is not hidden. :o)

Look those advise, it's mail advice, but still can help, Adobe Flash Player etc. might be trouble, i check my Avatar and all was ok so, there should not be troubles.
