How do I add my group to my 360 page?

How do I add a picture to a group and have it show in yahoo 360?

  • I have noticed that others have a picture for their group on their Yahoo 360 page. I have tried to add a picture and all I get is an empty square with a red x in the corner. What am I doing wrong?

  • Answer:

Your group will not show up if it is a private or adult group, not listed in the Yahoo! directory. See the links below. Also, if you are the owner of the group, the picture probably needs to be in JPEG format and under 5MB to display in 360. To get your group listed on the 360 page, click on "My Page" at the top of the window. Then, you should click the "share a group" in your groups module. Once you have a group appear on "My Page" (The group may take up to a day to appear on your "My Page" after joining.), click on the "share groups" link again. Under "Edit Activities," check the box next to "Yahoo Groups." You can also "Join A Group" while there, if you like. Also, make sure to set your permissions on the right ("as seen by") before clicking the "Save" button. It may take longer to actually access the group, if there is member approval process. You can double check if this setup works in 360 for different views by clicking on the drop down menu "Preview as seen by" on your 360 "My Page. 360 team page on Sharing Groups: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-nNIST_woRKGLBc4JxGgUEhtmZ_EL?p=211 Yahoo! Privacy Center has a mention about it as well: http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/360/details.html
