Can you use a picture instead of an avatar in the yahoo chat?

Answers says i dotn have a yahoo! 360 account so i cant use my picture as an avatar on here...?

• But i did just sign up for an account, change my picture. But on here where it lets you choose your avatar and name it says i dont have a 360 account and therefore cant use that picture. :( What do i do?

  You will need to be patient. Sometimes Y/A doesn't recognize newly activated 360 services right away. Come back to your Y/A profile to change your picture settings in a few days. Even if the option appears to choose your 360 image, it may take days or weeks for the image to appear fully on the Y/A site.
