Can you use a guitar hero 3 guitar on xbox360 to play rockband, the beatles?

ok well. i got a xbox 360 and i was planning on getting rockband, the beatles. So i wanted to know if i can play rockband with my guitar hero guitar so i dont have to buy a guitar myself for rockband. If there is no way to play rockband with a guitar hero guitar post a good price, low price on a rockband guitar. If the guitar hero guitar works on rockband please post some proof and i will take a look at it thanks. :D

I don't have any proof, but it does work. I have G.H.3 and G.H.Metallica for the 360 and I also own Rockband and Rockband AC/DC. I had read on Yahoo about the Beatles games working with the Rockband guitar and most "others", so I tried playing Rockband with my G.H.3 guitar and sure enough, it worked.
