My computer will not let me download Yahoo Messenger,says,can not open files,abort,then shuts off,why?

I want to chat on Yahoo Messenger,but my computer won't let it download,shows can't open files,abort,you mark the box to clear the screen and it shuts off,why? I want to chat in the yahoo chat rooms,pl help!

I think you have corrupted files. You will need to un-install yahoo messenger, then re-install it from scratch.

i had problem about yahoo messenger before like your i know there is nothing wrong with my computer.so i had to find someone who knows how to set it properly.i paid the man and its worth it.

Having to be a firewall. Go to turn it off until you download.And going to start,control panel,Internet,Internet options and click on property and check the setting . your firewall should be there

Did you check you have enough "Memory" capacity on your computer. This can be the problem installing something new on it.
