How can I delete some of the unwanted people that are in Updates?

How can I delete other peoples updates status from my computer.?

  • How can I delete other peoples updates status from my computer.? I have a update status that I see everyone status. There are some people that I do not care for and I don't want to see this (The status is when I open my mail program window). Can someone please tell me how I can have them taken off of my window, They usually write stupid things that when someone else see this it starts trouble for me.

  • Answer:

The display of status updates that you see when looking at the "What's New" page of Yahoo! Mail is shown to you, not other people. Other people can't directly see the contents of your Yahoo! Mail pages. However, just like you can choose the privacy permissions for your updates; other people can choose the permissions for their updates. So, if you see another person's updates, that person could have set a permission to allow the same status to appear in other people's Yahoo! Mail page (and other areas). You can only control who can see YOUR updates and whether you want to see other people's updates in your Yahoo! Mail area (or who's looking over your shoulder when you're checking mail). Now, if you want to completely remove the updates displays from your Yahoo! Mail service, then see http://help.yahoo.com/tutorials/cg/mail/cg_connect6.html and http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/connections/connections-17.html for instructions on turning off this feature.
