• I have made some blogs on www. paid to blog . com a while back. And so far I haven't been getting any luck with traffic. The most people that have visited my blogs are only less than 40 people.   A blog is a type of web site. Yes, I have one. However, I don't make money from it, as it's not allowed on Yahoo. However, increasing traffic is not going to be fast and easy. It will take time and extra effort, as will making sure that your content is well-developed. Also, a domain called "paidtoblog" might deter people from visiting. People typically don't visit blogs because they want to help the blogger get paid. They visit because the content provided benefits them in some way (i.e. knowledge, relationship connecting, advice, and etc.). Major ways to promote your blog include RSS feeds, search engine optimization (SEO), social networks, partnerships and community building. Also, popularity is not just measured in total number of unique page hits. You should look for ways to retain readership, beyond a one-time visit.
