How can i upload a different picture for my avatar instead of the custimized versions without using yahoo 360?

I am sorry but there is no other option you can use without using Yahoo 360. You have three basic choices for your ID image here on the Answers site. One is the gray silohuette of the young male person.. Two is your Yahoo Avatar.. Three is your Yahoo 360 Id.. that is all you can choose from.. Yahoo trys to keep it as simple to use as possible.

Through Yahoo! 360 is the only way to get an image (but not a Yahoo! Avatar) to show up in Y/A.
