What is the best way to make blog popular?

There isn't just one way to make a blog popular, that's the trick. ;-) It's great that you comment on other blogs like yours, especially, if it includes a link that goes back to your site and you're actually developing online relationships with those bloggers. But there are several other methods that you can use to increase traffic. Major ways to generate visitors are via RSS feeds, search engine optimization (SEO), social networks, partnerships and community building. Also, popularity is not just measured in total number of unique page hits or number of followers. You should look for ways to retain readership, beyond a one-time visit. Marketing your blog effectively will take time and effort.
