Why won't my Xbox 360 show video or audio?

My xbox 360 still isnt show video after i tried to put the settings back to default?

  • so i tried to put the settings back to default by pressing the y and r trigger it work the first time after it restarted the third time but now it wont even after then. my screen is black with small white dots that go across the screen.

    You have a Video Card Failure i sent mine in 3 days ago with same problem but my screen was just blank no dots.

1) Check to make sure your A/V wires going into your TV aren't messed up. Try replacing them with a different set and see if that works. Make sure they're plugged into the right place. Audio Out from system going to In on TV and Video out on system going to In on TV. 2) Make sure your TV is on the right setting. Does it have a "game" mode? Does it need to be on a certain channel when you're playing games? 3) Look at the power box. (the big grey box with the green/orange light on it. Connected to the the Xbox plug). Sometimes those things get messed up and need to be replaced. 4) Do you have any Red Rings on the Xbox Console? (hopefully, not). Check that out and make sure the console isn't messed up. 5) Are you running in Hi-Def? Look at the HDMI Cable and see if that could be the problem.
