How do I get rid of a XBOX 360 profile?

I really want my old xbox 360 profile back and how can i get it?

  Punt? I mean YOU need to know what information you used when you created the Gamertag to use the Recover Gamertag feature. If MS said 'we can't tell you' and/or you can't find it on their utility website then it could be long gone. It's there, but you have to remember the questions they ask for. Think hard, where did you live? What would you have put in for an address, phone #, birthdate and such? You should write these down somewhere for safe keeping if you make a few Gamertags as it'll haunt you in the future. Use like Google Docs and make a spreadsheet you can get to from any PC (with a PW, it's secure) and that way you can look back and know what you did. I do multiples, so I have to remember these details as well and one I haven't been able to for a couple of years now! So just put yourself where you were when you created it and see what you can do.
