I copied this for you from the help menu on tumblr.com Can my blog be private? The default blog that comes with your account is public. But, you can make specific posts on your default blog private. Just change the "publish now" menu on a posting page to "private" or use the Advanced area on a bookmarklet page. You can also create an additional blog on your account and make that blog password-protected. Details on creating an additional blog are below. Can I have more than one blog? Can I have more than one author on a blog? The default blog that comes with your account can only be posted to by you. But, you can create additional blogs under your account and they can have multiple authors if you wish. Click the title of your default blog on the right side of the Dashboard to access your blog list. Then, click the Create Another Blog link at the bottom of the list. Once you create an additional blog, you can access and customize it via the blog list on the Dashboard. And, you can use the Members link for an additional blog to invite other authors to join. Each author must be invited individually, as each invitation link will only work one time for one person. Only the default blog for an account can follow others. Additional blogs on an account can be followed but cannot follow others.
