How do u delete questions from "my profile"?

    Only open questions may be deleted. Once they are in voting or resolved, they become the property of Yahoo and go to their archives. They even stay there if you quit YA entirely. To delete an open question go to your profile, go to "my questions". Click on the question you wish to delete, underneath it click "+", then click "delete question". The same applies to answers! All you can do is set your profile to private, that hides all questions and answers: go to your profile, click "edit my info", scroll down to "privacy", under "Yahoo! Answers Network" mark both "on my public profile, hide my Q&A from people not in my Answers Network" and "on my public profile, hide my Answers Network from people who are not in it". Note: if you mark "allow other Answers users to be my fan", you may get fans and they will then be able to read all your Q&A. So either don't allow this or check regularly, who has added you as their contact.

You can only delete open question or answers, if they have gone to the vote or resolved they cannot be removed. The questions and answers stay in yahoo archive available for searching and browsing. only yahoo can delete them.

You will likely be unable to delete a question from a year ago, as its probably in a Resolved status. For the sake of future Y/A activity: You can only delete OPEN questions. Questions with the status of "Resolved" or "In Voting" can't be deleted, as they are the property of Yahoo and only they can delete them at that point. Click on your avatar on the far left corner of most Yahoo Answers pages OR click on the "My Profile" link on the far, upper right corner of the page. This takes you to your Y/A profile page. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see tabs. The "My Questions" tab shows questions you've asked. Clicking actual question link will take you to the question, where you can click on the pencil icon to choose the delete option.
