How can i put music from my PC at Yahoo 360?

  • Please help me until i can upload my favorit music from pc to Yahoo 360

  • Answer:

First add any MP3 file that's been uploaded to the Internet (search the Internet for .mp3). Copy the link of any file that begins with "http://" and ends with ".mp3" Click "Edit Blast" in Yahoo! 360º, paste the link into the URL field, add text to the blast, and save it. Click the play-button icon when it appears." YAHOO LAUNCHCAST: - Click the "Share Music" link on your "My Page" almost directly under your profile photo on the left. - Check the box next to Launchcast Radio. If you don't already have a Launchcast station going, click the "My LAUNCHcast Station" link at the bottom of that box, then got to the Launchcast Radio drop down menu on the upper right of the new page. Select the "Create My Station" button - Come back to 360. Click the "Share Music" link again. Make sure to adjust your permissions in the upper right corner. - Then, click the "Save" button at the bottom. If this doesn't work, you can add a link to your station in your Profile, Blast, Blog, or Blog Roll by following the instructions at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/music/launch_cast Good luck! My answer will help you to upload your favorite music from ur PC to your Blog Entry! Go to this page http://imeem.com (this site allows you to upload music, playlist, video, pics, etc.) At first you have to sign up to have an account in this page (it's easy...don't worry) Then upload your own mp3s on this page. It just allows .mp3 files for uploading so that if you have .wma files or others, you need to convert them to .mp3 files * you can search the free download converter on http://google.com by typing on Search tab : wma to mp3 converter, mp3 to wma converter, etc. After uploading, you'll have got an HTML code for your .mp3 file. Then go to "Compose Blog Entry" and remember to tick the View HTML Source and copy here the HTML code which you've got. And now you can compose your entry normally by switching off the View HTML Source. Completely! It's not too hard ;)

You must use a MP3 file that's been uploaded to an online music hosting site. There are free accounts available at http://www.imeem.com , http://www.ripway.com , http://radioblogclub.com , http://www.fileden.com , http://lastfm.com , and many more. These services - after you upload the music from your computer's hard drive - will provide a URL and EMBED code for each file. 1) Add music to 360 is via your "My Page/Top Page" blast. Click "Edit Blast", paste the link into the URL field, add text to the blast, and save it. The visitor will need to click the play-button icon when it appears. At imeem.com the code can be set to include "autoplay" if you check the box next to the EMBED code. Also, you can create a "playlist" as well as "individual MP3 files" for use in your blog. - Compose a new blog entry - Select the EMBED code you want to copy, then right-click to select "Copy." - Check the "View HTML Source" box, position your cursor and right-click to choose "Paste." Uncheck the box to get back to the regular blog screen. WARNING: Do not save your entry with out adding some text. Also, there may be some slight delay in getting the audio to appear. If you refresh the page, it will probably show up. * This method allows you to make music play automatically and create lists of music that don't require the user to log into an external site. However, when people visit your main page, the music will not play. They have to go directly to your blog and and the blog page on which that entry is located (so you may have to delete & repost the music every 5-6 entries). You can provide them with your blog URL which is http://blog.360.yahoo.com/%5Bthe rest of your URL] ...without the brackets, of course. They can also click the blog link from the Top Page, to get to the first page of your blog where the music post should be located. Other options are to tag the entry (see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/blog/blog-31.html ) or highlight it (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/blog/blog-28.html ) for easy access. The highlight option is at the bottom of your entry, if you click "Show Options".
