How do I get rid of my Yahoo 360 profile?

You can't completely get rid of the 360 functionality without deleting your entire Yahoo account. Even then, it's not guaranteed to delete. The second-best option is to make sure no one who you haven't invited can view a feature and make sure that there's nothing there to view. Also, with instant messaging it's the Yahoo ID that is used (the part to the left of the @ sign in your e-mail address). If the message came through Yahoo! Messenger, how do you know that it's related to Yahoo! 360? People can now send instant messages through a variety of sources, and some don't require that they know your Yahoo ID, such as through Yahoo! 360. First, I recommend that if you are using Yahoo services that includes interaction with strangers, that you set up a Yahoo! alias on your account to use with Yahoo! services. The alias doesn't have an e-mail function associated with it (unless you create one extra address through Y! Mail). Then, set up your 360 space to work with that alias.
