Why isn't my Yahoo 360 page my default profile?

  • I have my Yahoo 360 page set up as my primary profile ("select as primary"). When I click on the profile link under my name in a Yahoo group post, it goes to my old profile, not my new 360 profile. This happened recently, because it was linking to my 360 page before. No matter how many times I go to my 360 page and save the setting making my 360 page my primary profile, my profile link in my Yahoo group posts keeps sending me to my old profile. Is this a Yahoo glitch?

    Double check that you are using that profile in your group: Log in to groups, go to My Groups (http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups) There is a column there that says Yahoo Profile, go down that column and make sure that you are using the same profile as in your 360. If it says your name instead-then you are not showing your 360. Click on what it says if it is in link format to change that. Otherwise, go to the group in question and click on Edit Membership. *********** ps-it is possible that this is something that you can't do in groups yet-not quite sure-i would think the above would solve it, but i went through one of my groups i owned and only got profiles-that could mean you can't link to 360 from groups just yet. This is a recent glitch or feature change (who knows?) that has affected many people. If you have done the following: Click your "Settings" link on the top right of the 360 space. Scroll down to the Yahoo! Identity Display section. Select the 2nd or 3rd circle, if you want your profile page to look like your 360 page. Click the Save button. Make sure that every field that has a red asterisk is filled in or the page won't save. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-1qCkw2Ehaak.hdNZkEAzDrpa4Q--?cq=1&p=5400 for a visual on this. Then, click on your "Beta Feedback" link in the top right corner of your 360 space and send in a Help form on this Technical Problem. However, this issue has not been fixed yet, so you'll likely need to continue waiting Yahoo! 360 to make a change and give people the direct URL to your 360 space.

Go to your yahoo360 page, click on settings, click the second circle in the box that says Yahoo Identity Display, make sure there is a check mark beside the Activate my Yahoo360 link click save, and make sure you have your page set to public so that others can view it.
