How do you replace your yahoo avatar with a real pic of yourself?

Trouble Changing my avatar to Yahoo 360 pic, please help!!!?

  • I love the show avatar so I made my yahoo 360 pic a picture of the main charecter but I don't know how to change my picture to tell who I am. Right now I have an avatar in it's place (not the show, the person) and I want it to be my yahoo 360 pic. I pressed edit info and clicked the cirlce under yahoo 360 for apperece and after that It's just a head (the gray one) Please help me!!!!!!!!!

    Go through the settings once more TO GET A PHOTO/CUSTOM PICTURE AS YOUR AVATAR. If you want a photo/custom picture as your avatar you need to make a yahoo 360 page. http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=http://360.yahoo.com/ The photo needs to be saved on your computer as a jpg file, don't worry about the size to much yahoo will adapt it. 1> Click "my page”. 2> "edit personal photo" 3> “browse” choose the photo, click save, Set as primary and save. 4> Go to your “edit my profile” http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit click “use my yahoo 360 picture” scroll down and press "preview", and then "OK" in the next screen. And your done. Some users are experiencing a delay with the 360 avatar showing. it can take some time to show but it will eventually so try to be be patient.

IDK it must be a bad pic morgie maybe try it again or... IDK JUST TRY IT AGAIN AND MAYBE IT WILL WORK or just find a different pic... hahaha(i am friends with the person thats asking this question)

UPDATED: Yes, your Y/A picture may be the gray unisex icon for a while until the system registers the change. We should not see your Yahoo! Avatar right now. So, go back into your Y/A profile to the picture section and change the setting to show the "360 image" and wait for it to change on the Y/A site. It may take days or weeks. Make sure that you are using the same Yahoo ID for 360 as you are using in Y/A, or it will never work.
