Wrong information when searching using members.yahoo.com?
-
When I search for myself via members.yahoo.com, it show me being 21 (I am 24) and living in Austin (I have not live there in over a year). When I log onto my 360 page it shows the correct data. This is my problem with yahoo 360, I can not access my old information to update it. When folks search for me they will see 21 and in Austin...it is not until they click on my yahoo 360 page that they see the correct information WHY IS THIS??? How can I access this old info that was there from BEFORE I signed up for yahoo 360 that is no longer being updated when I change my profile? I can edit my profile and it shows the correct info and I don’t have multiple profiles either. What’s the deal? I think yahoo needs to scratch 360, I’ve seen numerous members complaining about it and also because once you sign up you can not rid yourself of it.

Answer:
After the total ramblings of the person above me that did not help you with anything.... You need to update the information through yahoo account settings. Sign into your mail, and go that way. Mine was the same way had me at the age of 24 in another city. I updated mine to reflect the current information. Good Luck

HI hun, Well I have been on yahoo for 7 years now (on and off) and never once have I ever searched for myself. But anywho, I did just that, and seen my name as being 41 years old and living in another town/state. Thus possibly meaning that there are more than one person out there with my same name.... And when I did a search by my ID, heck it didn't even find me. But no matter... It don't bother me any. but for your issues, I cant help you out ... Sorry... Something I guess only Yahoo can answer outside of my findings. And about issues with 360 .. yeah, I feel that we should be able to delete the 360 if we wish to, without loosing the account fully. But I myself like 360 and don't wish for them to take it out and fix all the bugs people seem to find wrong with it. To one person they see sunshine, to another person, they are complaining that its to dang hot... Good Luck! :)
