How do I get an email address @msn.ca if it is still available?

Trying to set up yahoo 360, I go to register email address and get.."Sorry, this email is already in use"

  • I saw someone else asked this question but they didn't get a useful answer so I'm re-asking it as i've been having the same problem with mine for at least a year. I have tried using 6 different email addresses, none of which are misspelled. I tried using the email associated with the yahoo Id i was trying to sign up for 360. I even tried using a hotmail email address I actually made just before trying it. yet I still always get "email already in use" every time. How can an email address I just made be in use already. This is some kind of site glitch that I have found no work around for. I've even tried using a brand new yahoo account and still can't register. Have also tried using Firefox 2, IE 7, Safari 2.0.4, Safari 3.0.2, and Camino 1.x. I've also tried contacting customer care email but never got a response. Does someone know a way around this site glitch?

Ok I found source of bug and was able to fix myself. Here is the defect in the 360 site. Even if I choose an email that is not registered to 360 it still gives email in use error because another email address tied to the account is in use on 360. In other words: yahoo account 1 (emails registered to accounts page) [email protected] <--registered on 360 [email protected] yahoo account 2 [email protected] [email protected] on account 2 you want to make a 360 page, you try to use [email protected] to register and it reports that useradam email is in use, it's not, but 360 noticed the userbob email on accounts page, even if it wasn'tr even being used to register for 360, by some bug in script or what not, the validation check is making a mistake and not allowing you to complete registration properly. Solution: Remove offending email from accounts manager page on account 2 then try again and it works.

Oh my stars I'll just stick with your origiinal question. If you're getting the message that email's already in use just add some numbers to make it different like street address, birthdates.

Sheraton, not Hyancith's Son

try using another e-mail

You should just be able to sign into yahoo 360 with your yahoo email account. when you create the yahoo email account you also have a 360 account....yahoo answers account....messenger account. All with the same user name and password. If you are getting the error message with a non yahoo email account....ask yourself if you used that email account to register one of your yahoo email accounts then that would solve your question. In other words you already have a yahoo 360 account with your yahoo email address just sign in.

You need to be signed in on your yahoo account and then try it. Then it won't need to ask you for an account. The reason it's saying account taken, is because it doesn't know it's you... you could be anyone.

lol friend calm down.. you can't use screen shots here.. or images of any kind.. sorry I bet you anything that you already have the pages.. and they are open to you.. you just need to go to the home page and sign out.. then.. go to tool and click the internet options and clean out your browser cache.. clean it good then close out your browser and pull up another and go to yahoo home page.. on the left hand side of the page is the option.. 360... click it and try setting up and signing in from that point of set up.. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.. good luck!
