How can you change the background of your yahoo profile?

Why won't Yahoo let me change my profile picture?

• I've had my Yahoo avatar for ages now so I want to change it to a pic I found on Google Images... I found the image I wanted and saved it to my pictures. Then I went onto my Yahoo profile and clicked on "Add Your Photo" which brought up a little box titled "Select Photo". I clicked on "Add Photo" and then browsed through my pictures, selected the image I'd saved earlier and clicked "Upload", before cropping it to the right size. But even after I'd gone through that whole process, the image wasn't showing up - it's still just the white smiley face on a grey background. And when I click "Use Selected Photo" (i.e. the smiley face) my Yahoo profile still shows up with a plain yellow box saying "Add Your Photo". I don't understand why it won't let me use the image I want?! I've tried to change it 3 or 4 times now, but nothing happens. Plus I checked and it's only 11.3kb and in JPEG form, so in theory it should work fine. Please help!!

  That happens to me all the time, as well! It just disappears after you crop it and hit okay. As far as I know, there isn't anything you can do besides forget about that one and use another picture. I've used the right format, the right size and everything, it just doesn't work. It's definitely not about size, because sometimes I can use my bigger pictures and they work fine, but the small ones don't work and vice versa. Maybe you could also try editing and scaling down the size on photobucket. I figure it's some sort of error that we can't fix. Maybe try writing to yahoo and asking for help.
