I created a blog a few hours ago. How come I do not find it in any search engines? What do I have to do?
-
I created my blog and I expected that as soon as you create anything online it would come up. I have searched for my blog over and over and it comes up with other blogs. Do I have to request something to the search engine company to get my blog listed? Does my blog have to become popular?

Answer:
Do you have your privacy settings set to public access.. if you don't then the search engines will not put it in their search results.

Search engines are constantly performing searches throughout the millions of websites online. 'spiders' search for key words when categorizing them. It could take a year or longer for your site to show up in msn, google, or yahoo's search engines. You can't really do anything about it...
