Why is the new 360 so prone to scratches?

What should i use to get rid of scratches on an xbox 360 (the plastic cover) caused by rough sand paper?

  • it's the white plastic plates that surround the xbox, I just want to get rid of the scratches because I want to paint it, and even with the first coat of paint, I can still see the scratches. And also, maybe there is a way to get the old paint off so I can get rid of them?? Thanks!

  • Answer:

    Try using a medium grit sandpaper, and then a finer grit sand paper, then an emory cloth. It should smooth out the surface enough you won't see any scratches under the paint.
