Where's my Yahoo profile?

Yahoo profile ??? i cannot figure out this problem?

  • can a person see my updates on yahoo profile if he is my contact in yahoo mail but not in yahoo profile. hope you know what i mean, right? sort of there a yahoo profile separate from your mail. when i sent mail there was my yahoo profile picture in the corner of the sent mail, by clicking on it you could see the profile but could a person see my updates there if he was NOT a contact on yahoo and was ONLY a contact in yahoo mail? cause i didn't know and it turned out that yahoo answers posted all my Q and A on my profile.

    Who can view what content on your Y!Pulse Profile page depends on your Y! Pulse update permissions. If you go to your "Manage Updates" page in Y!Pulse (http://pulse.yahoo.com/y/settings/updates ) and any of the Yahoo! Answers-related fields are set to "Everyone" instead of "Connections" or "No One", then that Yahoo! contact may be able to see those updates. That aspect applies to any type of update. See http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/pulse/updates/pupdates-12.html , http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/pulse/connections/pconnect-06.html , and http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/pulse/applications/puapps-01.html for more information. Hi Lollypop girl, I do not allow my contacts on Yahoo! Answers to contact me either by IM or email but other people can see my profile when I tick the send to Facebook box. On YA I can look at the limited profile only of those I have accepted as my contacts. This limited profile shows questions and answers you have submitted but no personal information, unlike Facebook. Gladgran PS Sorry I stand corrected, your profile does not allow other people to see your QnA - presumably at your request - I don't mind who reads mine because at 77 years of age I have no fear of reprisals, not even in the next world because I am a baptised Christian!
