How do you find an Yahoo ID from a profile page?

Yahoo tells me my prior account has been deactivated. but my old 360 profile is still viewable to everyone. ??

  • AT FIRST IT WAS TELLING ME WRONG PASSWORD, THEN I WENT TO MY SECURITY QUESTIONS, ANSWERED THEM AND IT TOLD ME THE ACCOUNT WAS NOW DEACTIVATED, AND REFERRED ME TO YAHOO TERMS OF SERVICE. SO I CREATED A NEW ACCOUNT,NOW KEEP IN MIND I HAVE THE SAME PRIVATE INFO , IN THE SECURITY QUESTIONS. I'VE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH MY NEW YAHOO ACCOUNTBUT YET MY FRIENDS TELL ME THEY CAN STILL VIEW MY OLD 360 PROFILE,HOSTED BY MY OLD YAHOO ID ACCOUNT. NOW I'M REALLY CONFUSED AND ANGRY I DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT. ALL THAT ACCOUNTS PHOTOALBUM IS STILL VIEWABLE BY MY FRIENDS. WHEN I LOOK MYSELF UP IN THE MEMBER DIRECTORY I ONLY FIND MY PRESENT ACCOUNT.BUT WHEN I GO TO YAHOO 360, I FIND MY PAST ACCOUNT'S PAGE. PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE WHEN IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE DEACTIVATED. I'VE TRIED CUSTOMER CARE AND HAVEN'TGOT ANY ANSWERS.

Yes. All services will remain active execpt your e-mail service. Also Yahoo! Answers will remain accessable to others because the account is only on deactivated status not deleted. The only thing you need to do is log in and when you log in it will tell you that your account was deactivated and then you will follow a few steps and then it will activate. Sometimes accounts get deleted when you stop using them for more than usual. But try it out, just log in with your old e-mail account and password and it should tell you to activated :)

If your account was deactivated because you violated Yahoo's Terms of Service, you can't reactivate it. You can have the old 360 page deleted by going to the page, clicking on the "Report for Abuse" link and describing your problem. Be sure to include your contact info, in case Yahoo! Customer Care needs to contact you for further information.

good luck getting an actual human response for your questions. your old site was deactivated for "some" reason and since yahoo won't tell you what it is, you have to guess. all they'll refer to you is the terms of service and you violated it blah blah blah. apparently you did, wrote or posted something on your site that they didn't like. technically, ALL sites could be deactivated according to their terms of service however in this case, it would appear someone may have reported you for something on your page and this is the end result. funny how your page is deactivated yet people can still see it? it's not really deactivated, YOU just can;t access it anymore. GO YAHOO!!!!
