I want to add my picture to my profile.

Want to add a picture to my profile, but can't. Help!?

  • For a long time, I had a picture to go along with my Q &A here. Recently, it doesn't show any picture any longer. when I go into my profile and lick on the Upload Photo or Avatar link, the screen literally gets darker and then nothing happens. So I tried going to this Yahoo Pulse place. It gives me an error of "Something seems to be wrong." and that's it. So the question is, how can I upload a picture file and have it show up as my avatar in Yahoo Q & A?

    that's happened to me a few times before, but I just went back the next day and it was fine. I liked your old picture! How to change your picture/ add one. Go to your Yahoo Answers profile page and click the link labeled: Edit my Preferences. Once you get to this page click the link: Update photo or avatar. This should pull up a small window, just click add photo on this link. Then, you will go through the usual process of browsing for your photo and fill out the picture, and click upload. It should then put your photo on the with the rest of your other photos you have uploaded. Just click on the one that you want to use as your profile photo, and then click : Use selected photo.

this same thing has happened to me but after playing around with the settings i did this : goto --->pule.yahoo.com then click settings then click Manage privacy settings then in the check box make sure that hide my profile in unchecked. then click save your yahoo pulse profile is linked directly to your Yahoo answers profile. BUT sometimes yahoo answers pictures take 24hrs to update becasue they have to be verified.
