How do I appeal a TOS violation?

Is there any way to get my Yahoo ID back after a supposed TOS violation?

  • Yahoo's telephone customer service told me that my account was closed due to a TOS violation regarding profiles. I posted a joke in my yahoo customer fantasy football league. I read the TOS and didn't think it was a violation. I really need to get that Yahoo ID back. I tried posting messages to yahoo and calling them. This started 6 days ago, and I haven't gotten a clear response from yahoo as to what exactly the violation was, although I do think I know what it was. I emailed them and told them what I thought it was and that I would be sure not to approach that line again. This is kind of frustrating because I need to use that ID. If anyone can help me - to get my account reinstated - I would be so grateful.

    If they did not restore it immediately then it's almost certain that they will not. TOS Violations are almost always final. Many of us use an account and e-mail address just for answers and have an alternative for anything important for just this reason.
