Blogs also have many features build in such as a way to post comments. I pay for my own website which makes access unlimited and no ads. It cost under $4 a month and includes email and my own domain. I do not like any free web site providers. They limit your space, hits, and modify your HTML to include their ads. For a blog try http://www.blogger.com which is run by Google. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪

blogs have a pre-defined layout. by the way "free" sites have usually also limits. when you want a fully personalized web site, you purchase your personal website/domain (e.g. from http://www.visionhost.info) and you use a good web site creation software, Dreamweaver in case you are a tech, or EasyWebEditor in case you need something more manageable by a "normal" human :-)
