Will this Ethernet cable connect from my computer to xbox 360?

• Im Getting An Xbox 360 But I Want To Be Able To Use The Computer And The Xbox Live At The Same Time.(Using Ethernet Cables) So If I Get a Linksys And Connect a 100 ft Ethernet Cable To It From The 360 Will It Lag Alot? And If So Why? Because of How Long The Ethernet Cable Is Or Becuase Of The Sharing Internet With The Computor? Or Both?

  You just do what you said. If you have an older laptop (from before 2005) you may need a crossover cat5 cable as older NICs don't support autoswitching. If the laptop is new then a regular "ethernet" cat5 cable should work. In windows, just share your Wireless Connection and disable any software firewalls. Start-->Settings-->Network COnnections Right click Wireless Network Connection and click properties Click the Advanced tab and check Enable Internet Connection Sharing. My friend's 360 and my old Xbox can tunnel to the WAN this way
