Has yahoo changed the default to pulse profile is viewable?

I remember when most of the Yahoo Answers profiles indicated that the Yahoo profile was hidden. In the past few days it seems that most of the profiles are no longer hidden. Is it just coincidence or have you found that a profile that was hidden is no longer hidden. BTW: My profile is not hidden so I can not tell by my profile if this has happened. I do know that you can go and hide the profile. I just wondered if those were reset to unhidden with the avatar change.

Quite a few YA profiles have the link for the Pulse profile displayed, but when you click some of those links, you get the message that the Pulse profile is either hidden or only visible for contacts - that certainly is a change compared to how it was set up until a few days ago.

I do believe only hidden profiles with pulse.yahoo.com prevents the use of personal avatars. so when you see an avatar beside a Yahoo!Answers user most likely these people are Unhidden. That is our choice to be invisible exclamations or visible with pretty avatar art. That is my opinion of the situation for now It may change over time.
