If is et my yahoo profile to 'hidden', can my contacts see past updates ?
-
im trying to get rid of updates/my profile because of potentially embarassing questions i asked through my yahoo account. i didnt know at the the time of asking teh questions that it posts updates for your friends to see, so now im scared of what they might have seen. i (now) set my yahoo profile to hidden, although id much rather it be gone all together(because it stil displays my display name?) and also, i now turned off my updates to contacts also, does yahoo mail send an email to all contacts when you ask a question on answers ?

Answer:
Go to settings, privacy, and check the boxes " only seen by me" and do not check the box share with yahoo etc. yes all your contacts get notified when you ask a question but not when you answer.
