Answer:
I have 4 Blogs covering most aspect of putting music on your 360 and working on more. I have not found any sites that you can link directly to mp3s so I upload my own music to a simple hosting site like http://www.fileden.com/index.php First link is my tutor on background music or a simple little player with controls. Second link is my mp3 player tudor with up to 12 songs.. Third link is music in your Blast. Forth link is the Dizzler Player. "MP3 Player, Radio, Video Player, and Game Player" Note; I leave myself open to all communications for follow up questions. " Last link down" I hope this helps :)

I use File Den: http://www.fileden.com/ Works just fine...no issues at all. After you upload an mp3 just copy and paste the link into URL area of your blast. It is a fun thing to have a little music on your page!

You can only add music to your blast or your blog. to add a link to music on your blog: if you use www.singingfish.com 1. search for the song of your choice 2. choose the appropriate download 3. when the website appears, copy and paste the link into your blog 4. no need to click the html button on this one. If you use www.rhapsody.com 1. search for the song of your choice 2. when the song appears, click the share button on the right side of the box. (you may also preview the song first, by clicking on the song, then share) 3. click rhaplinks 4. make sure you copy the link for blogs 5. copy and paste into your blog, by clicking the html button then pasting into your blog. If you use www.youtube.com 1. Search for the song of you choice 2. Select the song by clicking on the video link 3. Copy the URL code and paste into your blog. 4. Again, no need to have the html button marked. To add the music into your blast, click edit blast and copy the URL code into the “add URL” space.

There are free accounts available at http://www.imeem.com , http://www.ripway.com , http://radioblogclub.com , http://www.fileden.com , http://lastfm.com , and many more. I use imeem.com - it's very easy to use. Here are 3 ways to share music on your page after you've uploaded your MP3 files: 1) Add music to 360 is via your "My Page/Top Page" blast. Click "Edit Blast", paste the link into the URL field, add text to the blast, and save it. The visitor will need to click the play-button icon when it appears. SOURCE: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-1qCkw2Ehaak.hdNZkEAzDrpa4Q--?cq=1&l=701&u=711&mx=711&lmt=50&p=6318 * This allows you to put music on your Top Page instead of your blog, but it won't play automatically. 2)If you want a music player/playlist or just a place to host individual MP3 files for use in your blog, you can create a free account at http://www.imeem.com (there are many other sites), upload the MP3 files, generate the EMBED code, and then copy and paste the player's EMBED code in a blog entry. At imeem.com the code can be set to include "autoplay" if you check the box next to the EMBED code. Also, you can create a "playlist" as well as "individual MP3 files" for use in your blog. - Compose a new blog entry - Select the EMBED code you want to copy, then right-click to select "Copy." - Check the "View HTML Source" box, position your cursor and right-click to choose "Paste." Uncheck the box to get back to the regular blog screen. WARNING: Do not save your entry with out adding some text. Also, there may be some slight delay in getting the audio to appear. If you refresh the page, it will probably show up. * This method allows you to make music play automatically and create lists of music that don't require the user to log into an external site. However, when people visit your main page, the music will not play. They have to go directly to your blog and and the blog page on which that entry is located (so you may have to delete & repost the music every 5-6 entries). You can provide them with your blog URL which is http://blog.360.yahoo.com/%5Bthe rest of your URL] ...without the brackets, of course. They can also click the blog link from the Top Page, to get to the first page of your blog where the music post should be located. Other options are to tag the entry (see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/blog/blog-31.html ) or highlight it (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/blog/blog-28.html ) for easy access. The highlight option is at the bottom of your entry, if you click "Show Options". 3) ADD A MUSIC VIDEO: - Find the embed code for the video that you want to add. See http://www.youtube.com/sharing , for example. You can choose a video from Yahoo! Video, YouTube, or Google Video. - Click on "My Blog" and create a new entry. - Type some text in the actual entry space as well, as it might not save. - Click the box next to "View HTML source" in the upper right of the entry space before adding code. - Copy the embed code and paste it into the space. - Click "Save" button and see if it appears. Click the box next to "View HTML source" to get back to regular view if necessary. See http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/blog/blog-33.html for the help page regarding embedding video into your blog. Check out the 360 post regarding how to embed a video into your blog and how to upload your own video to Yahoo! Video: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-1qCkw2Ehaak.hdNZkEAzDrpa4Q--?cq=1&p=12053 and the actual Yahoo! Video video post on uploading a video to Yahoo! Video at http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?vid=123929 .
