witout sending it? go buy a new one. happened to me when i had the xbox so i was like screw xbox. n i'm never going to get a 360 because microsoft makes crap electronics that they call game systems that would be considered a miracle if you have it for a year.

The only way possible is to fix the heat sink manually but it is difficult because you are gonna be using time and money with a likely chance of destroying your 360. I went through this before. The best way is just to send it in. C'mon you can do something productive in 1 month. Plus if you fix it yourself the warranty is void and chances of getting RROD again. 1 Month is all it takes of not playing. Use the computer, watch tv , relax with the family (Xbox Live has destroyed my family relationship :D)
