How do you delete categories?

Can't delete categories in Friend section?

  • Does anyone know if we can delete the categories we created in our friend section? I was experimenting with that section and created a few categories, but now I can't delete them. Am I stuck with them forever?

    In your 360 page click on friend at top of your screen and you will be able to put them in another categorie,and i think you can delete too,or you can clik on help at the top of your page,you might find a better answer there.Good luck

yahoo must be having some problems. i can't open my email, look at my 360 page, heck i even had a problem getting here. they'll fix the problem soon.

As of now...you can CREATE categories...and move "friends" from one category to another...or have the same person in several categories. But...there is no delete option to get rid of a category that you have created. The most you can do is to move all the friends out of the category in question leaving it empty and just not use that category.
