How can I delete a Yahoo 360 weblog page?

  • I would like to delete my weblog page and go back to the regular profile page, if possible. How can I do this?

    I'm hoping this will help. Try going to "Settings". Underneath your "Yahoo! Identity Display", there is a checkbox for "Activate my Simple URL". It should be checked. Uncheck it and save. Then go to http://profiles.yahoo/com/YourYahooID and see if your old page is still there. It should be.

One of the options you selected in your Yahoo! 360° settings is replacing your profile with your 360° page. Go to your Yahoo! 360° page, and then go to "Settings". In your "Basic Info" page, in the "Yahoo! Identity Display" section, go to your profile and select the first option (which says “Display me as [your Y!Answers nickname]”) if you do not want your profile replaced by your 360° page. Then click on "Save".

There are 2 ways to get a 360 page deleted: 1. You delete the page yourself by deleting your entire Y! email account. After terminating your account, it takes Yahoo 90 days before they completely remove the account (It's best to remove all info from your 360 page before terminating it). 2. Your page is reported for abusing Yahoo's TOS. If someone reports your page and Yahoo thinks the violation is valid, they'll either suspend or delete (according to the severity of the violation) your 360 account. If you don't want to lose your Y! email account to get rid of your page, you can remove all information from your 360 or you can set all of your information as 'private' and simply, ignore the page. You can also set the old profile as your default profile without having to delete your 360 account.
