Why can't I get my Answers profile to show a link to my 360 profile?
-
It says that my 360 profile is hidden, but there doesn't seem to be an option for changing that in 'Edit my profile'. How can I make my 360 visible?

Answer:
If you are 13-17 years old, then it is not possible to show the natural link to your 360 page. You see, contrary to what many users still believe, you no longer have to be 18 years of age or older in order to create a Yahoo! 360 page. An adolescent user can now substitute a real picture for a Yahoo! Avatar without breaking the rules because it is now possible to create a 360 page if your D.O.B. is less than 18 years in the past. However, users aged 13-17 do have more restrictions than do those of us who ARE 18 or older. Please refer to these updated guidelines in order to understand why this is: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/guidelines/safetytips.html.html Basically, the page of a teenager is just like that of an adult EXCEPT for the information that could possibly harm them. Because of this, they are not allowed to post their schools, their full name, their age, or their home town or to even show the link to their page on their Answers profile here. Furthermore, they cannot use it to replace their old Yahoo! Profile. If they do, then it will be known that they've lied about their age upon the creation of their Yahoo! account, which will most likely be deactivated by Customer Care. So please error on the side of caution and DO NOT POST any personal information that could allow you to be found in real life if you are under 18.

You can try this (it works for some users): Click the "Settings" link on the top right of your 360 page. Under 'Basic info,' scroll down to "Yahoo Identity display." See if the box near your primary Y! email address is checked (particularly if you have two or more Yahoo email addresses/names listed there). If it isn't, check the box and save. Return to your Y! Answers profile and see if you can check the box to show your 360 page. You can also copy the URL of your page and paste it in the 'About me' section of your profile.

I've just checked mine. There is one for me. It's down a little on the page. It's a little box that says show my 360 and then there is a box for comment underneath. Hope you find it.

Select edit my info, under your avatar photo. scroll down the page and check off the box for Show link to my Yahoo! 360 page. should be right above the 'about me' text box.

The problem you're having is a beta glitch in the Yahoo Answers profiles. I've had the same problem since I joined Answers in March of last year. You could send a beta feedback form to let them know about it....but I've done that many times and it has yet to be fixed. Just activate the URL to your 360 page....in 360 click on SETTINGS...then in BASIC INFO scroll down to where it says YAHOO IDENTITY DISPLAY...at the bottom of that section it will have a box for you to check mark to activate your URL to your 360 page. Click save when done. Then copy that URL and go back to your Answers profile and paste it into your ABOUT ME section. CLick save when done there too. Hope this helped you out.
