How do I get someone off the ignore list? I don't want him ignored.?

I accidentally clicked on ignore for a friend of mine, and it wont go away. I remove the ignore, and hes returned to ok status, but as soon as I click off the page and go back again he's back on the ignore list. It seems I can't remove him from ignore, and back on an original status. Can anyone help?

if he is added to your list than he cant get ignored, but if he s not added then add him...
