Had a picture question?

Can Anyone Help Me? Question About My Yahoo 360 Picture...?

  • Hello, and thank your for dropping by. I have a 360 account, and i have a picture. But how come i cannot choose my 360 picture as my avatar on Yahoo>Answers? People say if i have two 360 accounts then it wont work, but i only have one. I've tried everything in my settings, i've set the picture on my 360 as my primary picture, and i still cannot choose it as my picture inplace of my Avatar. My picture is small/big enough to fit, and i am doing nothing wrong (That i know of) What's wrong? How come i cant use my 360 Picture on Answers? If you don't have an answer, do you know an e-mail where i can contact support on Yahoo? -Thank You, and any suggestion i will try, i really want a picture instead of an Avatar.

How do I add a picture to my profile? On the Profiles Edit Page, you can select a picture to appear on your Yahoo! profile. Click the "Edit Picture" link. There are four ways to add a picture to your Yahoo! profile: To upload a picture from your computer, click the "Browse" button to choose the item to be uploaded. Locate the pitcure on your computer's hard drive, select it, and click the "Open" button. If you can't find the file or photo, make sure you aren't limiting the types of files shown in the "Browse" window. (To point to an item already on the Web, click the "Or point to a file on the Web" link.) Give your item a name and brief description, then click "Upload." There might be some delay or lag time while your item is being sent to us, depending on the size of the file and the speed of your Internet connection. (If you're linking to an online file, you will see "Add Link" at this stage.) Note for Mac users: If you use a Macintosh computer, make sure to add a file extension to the name of the item before you click on "Upload." If your picture is a JPEG, add ".jpg "to the end of the name (e.g., a JPEG photo named "cowbell" would be renamed "cowbell.jpg"). If your file is a Microsoft Word document, add ".doc" to the end of the name. To select a picture already in your photo album, click "Yahoo! Photos," then find the picture you'd like to use. Check the box next to the picture name and click the "Select" button. The picture is automatically uploaded to your Yahoo! profile. If you want to use one of the pre-selected pictures (our cartoon avatar images) from our gallery, check the radio button next to the picture you want and click "Change Picture." To point to a picture on the Web, insert the picture's URL in the box provided, then click "Add Link."
