How do i change the name on my yahoo 360 account?

My last name is showing up in Groups and I cannot get it removed. last name is not in profile,and not in 360?

• I had never had my last name on my main profile account. I had no problems until after I opened my 360 Blog. Stupidly, I put my last name on my Yahoo 360 Blog profile, but that is not visible to the public. It did not show up on my 360 blog or in the Groups for a long time. A month or so ago, my last name showed up on Group membership lists. Someone told me that Yahoo is making a transition from the the current profile format to the 360 format. I went to my 360 Blog and my last name was now showing there too. I revmoved my last name, saved that change and checked a few days later. The last name was still there. So I did it again...same result. After several attempts I realized that "something" in the last name field is MANDATORY-it cannot be blank. I put in some jibberish for a last name and saved the changes. That "jibberish" is now what is showing for my last name on my 360 Blog. So I unjoined a Group AFTER the change above, then REJOINED the same group.....with no luck.

  Was doing some searching regarding your problem and haven't come up with a solution yet. I checked my 360 and both my groups, and my info only shows what was available on my profile when created them and joined them a couple years ago. I'm wondering if yahoo has changed things (which I understand your concern re your last name showing) in recent months. Will try an experiment and see what happens. If I figure it out, will let you know, if someone doesn't come up with the solution in the meantime.
