What is an easy way to put a song on my Yahoo 360?

Is there any way i could put a song on my yahoo 360 Blog page?

  • Answer:

You need a mp3 file on a server. You can find many songs at: http://search.singingfish.com/sfw/home.jsp just take the link of the song you like, go to your 360° HOME page and past the link into the small box on the left side (Blast message... add a URL) Then click *save* and look on your main page (My Page). You'll see inside of the blast a little icon with an arrow. Click on the icon and the music starts playing.

what I did was select a picture, edit the name field to display my favorite song, and past the URL in the description block. When you chose the pic, stop the slide show and copy and paste the URL in your browser and you hear my song. Only way I can figure it out other than the "edit blast" option.

Get the URL of the song you want and put it in the place for a link in your Blast. I upload my music here: http://ripway.com/

Just copy/paste the HTML code from a website and paste it in your blast same goes with a video you can put in your blogs.

You can do what the previous person said - OR you can embed a Flash player directly into your blog with a song loaded into it. Visit my blog for a link to a flash player. Then just follow the instructions on the page. You do have to locate a URL of an MP3 to load into the player. You can find a lot of good MP3s online at singingfish.com or altavista.com. To add music to your blast: 1) Sign up for a free account at a file-hosting website: http://fileden.com or http://snapdrive.net Upload the song you want to use to your account. Copy the URL of the mp3 after you've uploaded it [the website will provide the URL.. just copy it]. It should start with "http" and end with ".mp3" On your Y! 360, click "Edit blast." Then, paste the URL of the song into the URL section of your blast. Add text to your blast. Then, save. After you've saved it, you should see the "Play" button. Click it to ensure the song works. Or: 2) If you know sites that have mp3 links ( http://www.singingfish.com is one), you can copy the URL from that website and paste it into the URL section of your blast. You can't use "wma" or any other format.. only an mp3. *It doesn't play automatically. To add songs/mp3 player to your blog section: -Create an account at a file-hosting website such as http://fileden.com or http://snapdrive.net or http://www.streamload.com/ -Upload your MP3s to your account. -Go to http://pimp.myyearbook.com/mp3player.php -Copy the URL(s) of your MP3s -Paste them into the different boxes on the MP3 Player's website. -Copy the HTML code/tag from the MP3 player's website (click 'Generate the Code.' Then, when you go to compose a blog: 1) Check the "View HTML source" box (on the right/above the white text area). 2) Paste in the code 3) Add text 4) Preview/Save. (The player doesn't appear when you're editing your blog entry; it appears in preview and after saving it.)
