How do I close my 360 account without deleting my entire Yahoo! account?

  • I'd like to delete my Yahoo! 360 account without deleting my entire Yahoo! account because I don't want my 360 page anymore, but I need to keep my Yahoo! email address.

    You can't delete the 360 account. You can make everything Private, except for your friends list (you can delete them one by one if you wish), change the settings for emails and invitations...alerts that may go to your yahoo Inbox...and then try and forget about it...

You don't really have an account for 360, it's just a free service that comes with your Yahoo! account. So you can't cancel your 360 account or delete your 360 pages without canceling your Yahoo! account. Just remove as much information from your 360 pages as possible.

You cannot cancel your yahoo360 profile, once you have created one it is there for good. Got to remember yahoo360 is in beta form. What you can do, is this, go to your settings on your yahoo360 page, and above the box that says, Yahoo! Identity Display How do you want to be displayed within Yahoo! 360°, click on the first circle, then click save. That should seperate the two profiles, and you should be able to go back to your original yahoo profile. If it doesn't work, give it a couple days, that is what happened to a friend of mine, and eventually both profiles seperated, if you have any more problems there is a group.
