How can I switch from yahoo 360 to my regular profile?

Why do people want to delete their Yahoo! 360 pages?

  • I've noticed a lot of people ask the question "how do you delete your 360 profile" or "how do you switch back to your yahoo profiles page" on the 360 category - I'm curious as to why people would want to delete their page. (I'm looking for detailed, thought-out answers, please. If you don't like the product, hey, that's fine, but don't write "cuz it sux lol.")

  • Answer:

I believe most of these people have no idea what Yahoo! 360 is prior to them signing up for it to find out more information. Then the decide that they do not wish to use it, so they do not want it just "lying around"

WHATS A 360 PAGE

To be honest I think it has to do with the fact most people already have a Myspace page, which is basically the same but better. And it is pointless to have two pages. The old page was cut and dry, I stayed with the old type page. The new one you have to search for everthing. Thats my opinion. J

Honestly I have no idea I had to beg for my invite in the first place. I love 360 ! As soom as I saw it I had to have it The old syle Y profiles are boring, plain white you can't put much info on them and only 1 single picture I'm like you I don't know why anyone would want something really boring when you can be so expressive on your 360 page From what I have seen on here people want the old style profile because it is basic ,360 is too confusing for them

Honestly?? I have no idea...I wouldn't delete mine in a thousand years...I LOVE IT!! But my guesses are as they follow: 1.She has made an account and she's having fun and HE is bored and/or jelous.(this was an explanation found here, browsing the questions) 2.They have no idea how to work with 360. I mean, sure, it's easy now to have a 360 page, but you have to find friends (unless you persuade some of your real life friends to join and be active on 360) who are more or less like you, active in this environment, interesting and interested to keep the spark going. 3.They might think it's too difficult to keep it up....but in fact they might lack motivation. 4.They might lack the CURIOSITY to learn about other people, really nice people (which you can also find, if you are not looking for the other kind...lol) 5.They are afraid that they might be revealing too much of the personal info. And I don't mean the one that you just say it anyway (birthdate, whereabouts and so on), but writing may say few things about who or what you are... 6. Or maybe they saw really good pages and they realized they have nothing better to say, so it's just plain easier to DELETE it...instead of trying to discover themselves and if they can do better. If I think of more, I'll come back and update. p.s. Why I love my 360? I have found really nice people from almost everywhere, with different backgrounds, we seem to have something in common, I seem to learn few things ...so I LOVE IT. Sorry if it doesn't sound more like "thought-out answer"...just my opinion. ******************* I've just run into a case, where the person holding the 360 account was probably way too open about themselves, and they've got themeselves some unwanted attention....What's the quickest solution (if that attention is inappropriate, when it's too much to handle)...delete...
