Will doing a 'transfer contacts' from one Yahoo email address to another remove the original contacts?

Why are 360 contacts added to my yahoo email address book and not deleted when I remove them from 360?

  • add a freind to yahoo 360 and they are automatically added o your yahoo email address book - which I DON'T like.If you delete the friend from your 360 contacts they will remain in your address book ... even screwier..if you just decide to deleted the contact from your address book, then it will remove them form 360 also ...? this needs to be keep seperate and equal.

    I don't know why this happens, but I agree that they should be kept separate. I have had this issue as well. Has anyone asked Yahoo! to correct the issue?

When you delete someone from your 360 there is an option to remove them from Yahoo address book as well make sure you check that box when you remove them Then check your Y Mail address book to see if it worked ,sometimes things take up to a day to actually work though If you remove someone with a blue icon in your Y mail it doesnt remove them from your 360 ,yellows don't matter they arent on your 360 friends list anyway
